Handmade with cutouts and rim cut into horse outlines before first firing then high-fired with glaze that ultimately gives a translucent quality to the porcelain. This piece then had oil-based paints fired into the porcelain to complete the arkwork. One image on one side of vase, the other image is on the other side of the vase. This piece also has images on the inside of both the front and back sides.
